FIELD ORDERS

In plain words

  • You may install and play Ludo Fighters for your own fun. You may not copy, resell, crack or mod it.
  • The Ludo Fighters name, soldiers, battlefields, music and software belong to Lacspace. Ludo itself is a traditional game that nobody owns.
  • Online squads use a free guest account with a callsign. Play fair, pick a decent callsign, and we may reset or remove accounts that break the rules. There is nothing to buy.
  • The game is provided as it is. We work hard on it, but we can't promise it will never have a bug.
  • The law of the place where Lacspace is incorporated applies, but you keep the mandatory consumer rights of the country where you live. Write to us first; most problems are solved by email.

This summary helps you find your way; the full text below is what applies.

01Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Lacspace Corporation Pvt Ltd (“Lacspace”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Ludo Fighters game on Android and iPhone (“the game”) and this website (“the site”).

By installing or playing the game, or using the site, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy and fair play rules, which form part of them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game or the site.

If you are a child, please read these terms with a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian who lets a child play accepts these terms on the child's behalf. Our parents' guide explains what the game contains.

02Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install the game on devices you own or control, and to play it for your own non-commercial entertainment. That includes playing Pass & play with friends and family on your device.

The game is licensed, not sold. You get the right to play it; Lacspace keeps ownership of the game and everything in it.

You will get the game from Google Play or the App Store. That store's own terms also apply to your download, and the store, not Lacspace, handles anything about the download itself. The store is not responsible for the game or for supporting it; we are.

03What you may not do

To keep the game fair and keep it ours, you agree not to:

  • copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it, including its artwork, sounds or music;
  • decompile, reverse engineer or take apart the game, except where the law allows you to and that right can't be waived;
  • make, share or use modified versions, cheats, hacks, bots or tools that change how the game plays (see our fair play rules);
  • remove or hide any notice of ownership or licence in the game or on the site;
  • pretend to be Lacspace or the Ludo Fighters team, or suggest we endorse something we don't;
  • attack, overload or try to break into the site, or copy it in bulk with automated tools;
  • use the game or the site for anything illegal.

You are welcome to share screenshots and videos of your own matches, including on social media and streams, as long as you don't present them as official Lacspace material. For anything bigger, such as using our artwork in a product, write to business@lacspace.com.

04Virtual content and future features

Today

The game has no virtual currency and nothing to buy. Everything in it, from the four battlefields to the house rules, is part of the game you install. Online squads are free to play.

Our roadmap lists ideas such as team play, missions and unlockable soldier skins. These are plans, not promises, and we may change or drop any of them.

Before we launch anything you can buy, we will update these terms with the rules that apply to it, change the date at the top, and tell you in the game. Any unlockable item would be part of your licence to play, not your property, and would have no cash value.

We may update, change or remove parts of the game, including battlefields, rules and settings, to fix problems or improve it.

05Online squads and your guest account

When you open Online squads, the game makes a free guest account for you, with no email or password. The account is tied to a sign-in key kept on your phone, so if you delete the game or clear its data you may lose the account and its stats. You are responsible for what happens under your callsign.

Your callsign must not be rude, hateful, or pretend to be someone else, including Lacspace or Lumi AI. Callsigns pass a filter, and if three different players report the same callsign it is reset to a default name.

Online, you agree to follow our fair play rules: no cheating, no tampering with the game or our servers, no harassment. We may reset your callsign, limit what you can do or remove your guest account if you break these terms or the fair play rules.

Online squads depend on our servers and your connection. We try to keep them running, but we can't promise they will always be available, and we may change, pause or end online features. If a player drops out or runs out of time, Lumi AI may take over their squad. Offline play keeps working either way.

You can delete your guest account at any time in the game (Settings or Online squads, then Delete my online account). The privacy policy explains what that removes.

06Who owns what

The Ludo Fighters name and logo, the soldier characters, the battlefields, the board artwork, the music, the squad callouts, the software and this site belong to Lacspace or are licensed to us. They are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

Ludo is not ours. Ludo is a traditional board game that anyone may play, make and sell. Our rights cover our own version of it: the name, the art, the sound and the code. They don't cover the classic game itself or its traditional rules.

Some content is made by others and used under its own licence, such as the recorded sound effects (CC0) and the fonts (open licences). The credits page lists them.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve the game without owing you anything for them. Thank you; that is how the game gets better.

07Disclaimers

We build the game with care, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be free of bugs, run on every device, or always be available.

Lumi AI is a computer opponent that follows rules we wrote. Dice rolls are random. Match results are a game, not a measure of anything else.

The site is for information. We try to keep it accurate, but features described on it may change before or after release.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away, such as consumer protection rights in the country where you live.

08Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Lacspace is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost data or loss of enjoyment, arising from the game or the site.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the game or the site is limited to the amount you paid us for the game, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

09Ending this agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting the game from your device. Deleting it also deletes the settings and match setup it kept on that device.

If you break these terms, your licence ends and you must stop using the game. We may also stop offering the game or the site at any time. The sections on ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law keep applying after the agreement ends.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add new features or when the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will explain it on this page and, once the game is out, in the game. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.

11Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Lacspace Corporation Pvt Ltd is incorporated. Nothing in this section overrides the mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.

If you have a dispute about these terms, the game or the site, please write to us first at info@lacspace.com and we will try to resolve it by email. Most problems can be fixed quickly by talking. This doesn't take away any mandatory right you have to bring a claim under the law of the country where you live.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part straight away, we can still enforce it later.
