Ludo Fighters featuresSame board. More fire.

Ludo Fighters keeps the Ludo you grew up with, the board, the dice, the race home, and turns every piece into a cartoon soldier. Land on an enemy and it is not a quiet trip back to base any more. It is a gun fight.

The big change

Soldiers instead of pawns

Every piece is a cartoon soldier in its squad's colour, with a helmet, a vest and a rifle, and they walk and talk. Flip the switch to see the same capture played the classic way and the Ludo Fighters way.

Ludo Fighters

Your soldier halts one square short, both sides raise rifles and three shots ring out. The enemy is knocked out, vanishes in a puff of smoke and respawns at its base, then your soldier steps onto the square. About 1.3 seconds, and you can tap to skip.

Under the helmet

Everything in the kit

Each feature below is in the game today.

A gun fight on every capture

Land exactly on an enemy and your soldier stops one square short and opens fire. Each fight picks a weapon: pistol, rifle burst or shotgun, a sniper shot (more likely across a long gap), or a grenade lobbed on an arc. The enemy is knocked out and respawns at its base. Before you roll, target rings show which enemies are in reach. Tap the board to skip a fight.

Shields on safe stars

Safe stars are shield bunkers. Fire at a soldier standing there and the shot ricochets off a blue dome.

Lumi AI opponents

Lumi AI fills any empty seat. Pick its personality: Rookie, Aggressor, Guardian, Strategist or Commander, who thinks a turn ahead.

Pass & play

Friends share one phone, up to six squads. The far side of the table gets its own dice, facing whoever sits there.

Four battlefields

Jungle, Desert, Snowfield and Night Ops, each with sandbag bunkers, a headquarters flag and its own ambience. On Night Ops the home lanes glow.

One die or two

Play with two dice for two moves a turn. Roll doubles and you get a bonus turn on top.

= bonus turn

Cartoon combat, no gore

Soldiers get knocked out with X eyes, fall over and vanish in a puff of smoke. No blood, no injuries, and they are back at base ready for the next round.

Real sounds, battle music, squad voice

Recorded dice, footsteps for every map, a reload, gunfire and a ricochet. A battle march made in-house. And 39 recorded squad callouts like “Enemy spotted!” and “Man down!”, each with a speech bubble over the soldier who says it.

Your table, your rules

House rules, as toggles

Every family plays Ludo a little differently. In a custom match each of these rules is a switch, so the game plays the way your table always has.

  • Need a 6 to leave base
  • Extra turn on a 6
  • Extra turn for winning a fight
  • Extra turn for getting a soldier home
  • Three 6s in a row forfeit the turn
  • Exact roll to reach home
  • Win with all soldiers home, or first one home
  • One die or two dice

Solo against Lumi AI

The board turns to face you

Pick your squad

Play solo against Lumi AI as Yellow and the board turns 90 degrees so your base sits bottom-left, the way you would sit at a real table. Your soldiers march up and away from you, every match.

What is not in the game yet

A friends list, power-up squares, a shareable killcam, more battlefields, a 2v2 team mode and ranked leagues are on the roadmap as plans, not promises with dates.

In the game · online squads

Players on different phones drop into one match. Quick battle seats 2, 4 or 6, and Lumi AI fills empty seats after about 15 seconds. Private rooms use a 6-letter code. You play as a guest with a callsign, talk with fixed callouts (no typed chat), and can report or block anyone.
