01Sound effects

Every gunshot, dice roll and footstep in the game is a real recording, trimmed and levelled for the game. All of them come from Freesound.org and are released under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 public domain dedication, so no credit is required. We give it gladly.

02Music

The battle march, the fight sting, the victory fanfare and the defeat sting were made in-house by the Ludo Fighters team. They are original to the game and belong to Lacspace, so no outside licence is involved.

The squad voice callouts are written by the team; the recordings are being produced and are coming with launch.

03Fonts

All the type in the game and on this site is set in free, open-licence fonts. The SIL Open Font License lets anyone use, embed and share the fonts, including in commercial products, as long as the fonts themselves are not sold on their own.

04Open-source software

Ludo Fighters is built in-house, and like most modern software it stands on the shoulders of open-source projects shared freely by developers around the world. We use them under their own licences, such as the MIT, Apache 2.0 and BSD licences, and we are grateful to everyone who maintains them.

We follow the terms of each of those licences, including keeping the copyright and licence notices they ask for.

05Lacspace packages

This website is built with Lacspace's own open packages: small, dependency-free building blocks for SEO, theming, interface and more that we publish for any developer to use. You can browse them on the Lacspace developer portal.

06Made by us

The Ludo Fighters name and logo, the soldier and board artwork, the four battlefields, the game rules as implemented, Lumi AI and the code are original work by Lacspace. “Ludo” is a traditional game that nobody owns. See our terms of use for what you may do with our work.
